Who this policy covers
This policy applies to easttexassepticservice.com, operated as a free referral service connecting homeowners, landowners and businesses with independent local septic companies. It does not cover the privacy practices of the septic companies you’re connected with once a call is routed to them. Ask that company directly about how they handle your information.
Information we collect
Phone calls. The phone number displayed on this site is a call tracking number provided by a third-party call routing service. Calls made to that number may be recorded and may be routed to the network of independent septic companies we work with, so the call can be answered and a referral made. Call recordings and routing data are handled by our call tracking and telephony providers as part of delivering the call.
Site analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand overall site traffic, such as which pages get visited and how people arrive at the site. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. We also use Google Search Console to see how the site performs in Google Search results, such as which search terms lead people here.
Forms. This site does not have any contact or lead-capture forms. The only way to reach us through the site is by calling the number shown on each page.
How information is used
Call and routing data is used to connect your call with a septic company that serves your area, and to help us and our call tracking provider evaluate whether the referral network is functioning correctly. Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console data is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful to visitors and to improve the site over time.
Third-party providers
This site is hosted on Cloudflare’s network. Call tracking, recording and routing are handled by third-party telephony and lead-routing providers as part of the referral service described in our Terms and Disclosure. Site analytics runs through Google Analytics 4, and search performance data comes from Google Search Console. Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing how it handles data.
Cookies and tracking
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in your browser to track visits and sessions on this site. You can control or block these cookies through your browser settings, or through Google’s own opt-out tools. This site does not run advertising pixels beyond the analytics tools described here.
Data retention
Call recordings and routing records are retained by our call tracking provider for as long as needed to operate and evaluate the referral service, consistent with that provider’s own retention practices. Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings for those products.
Your choices
If you have concerns about a call being recorded, you can decline to proceed with the call, or ask the person who answers whether the call is being recorded. You can also block or clear Google Analytics cookies in your browser at any time. Nothing on this site requires you to submit personal information to read it, since there are no forms.
